Meet the Team

Danica Federe is the founder of The Therapy Grove and a speech-language pathologist, passionate about helping others communicate and thrive. She specializes in assessing and treating speech, language, and feeding disorders in children and adults, with special interests in articulation, language disorders, and early intervention. Her goal is to provide compassionate, personalized care in a warm, supportive environment where clients feel confident and empowered.

Danica holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA, is licensed in California, and is a certified NLA (Natural Language Acquisition) clinician trained to support gestalt language processors. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Speech Pathology and Audiology from CSU East Bay, with a minor in Human Development, and her master’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from CSU Northridge.

With over nine years of experience across private practice, home-based, and school settings, Danica brings a well-rounded, client-centered approach to her work. She especially values building meaningful connections with clients and families and celebrating each step of progress.

Outside of work, Danica enjoys cooking, hiking, traveling, and spending time at the beach.
